JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The Dump Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting materials such as gravel, dirt, and other construction materials to and from construction sites, landfills, or other designated locations. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Operate dump truck in a safe and efficient manner, following all relevant traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport materials to and from construction sites, landfills, or other designated locations as directed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality.
• Load and unload materials onto the truck bed using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Secure loads properly to prevent spillage or shifting during transport.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and its equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

OTHER REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS MAY INCLUDE:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating a dump truck.
• Proven experience as a dump truck driver or similar role.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.
• Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and machinery used for loading and unloading materials.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects and climbing in and out of the truck cab.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and occasional overtime as needed.
