CDL A/B Dump Truck Driver

Construction Services Group, Inc. is expanding. We have a need for a Dump Truck Driver with CDL for Tri-Axel Operations to join our team.

Dump Truck Driver Position Description & Responsibilities: CSG is looking to hire a Dump Truck Driver to transport various materials to and from construction sites. The positions main responsibilities include using the truck to unload materials, supervise the loading of materials, inspecting the truck for any mechanical issues before and after every trip, and safely dive and operate the truck in all weather conditions. Additional duties may be assigned.

Dump Truck Driver Job Requirements:

• Transporting crushed rock, sand, gravel, and other materials to and from construction sites.
• Verifying the types of materials being transported and ensuring that loads do not exceed weight restrictions.
• Supervising and ensuring materials are loaded correctly.
• Performing routine maintenance to include greasing the dump truck every 5,000 miles; and inspecting the truck before and after every trip to include checking oil, gas, and water levels, checking proper operation of lights, and inspecting tires.
• Promptly reporting any accidents, injuries, or mechanical malfunctions to management.
• Maintaining accurate driver logs.
• Complying with all applicable safety rules and regulations.

Dump Truck Driver Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Dump Truck Driver required (additional Equipment Operations is preferred; excavator, skid steer, forklift, etc.).
• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Clean Driving Record.
• Working knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance, and road safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Security Clearance preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.
