Our client is a top Road Building/Paving Contractor in Central Oklahoma with multiple Asphalt paving plants who is confidentially searching for a sharp Asphalt Plant Mechanic Specialist for travel to their plants throughout Central and Southern Oklahoma.
The ideal Asphalt Plant Mechanic Specialist candidate will have:
\*5 years experience with the title of: Asphalt Plant Mechanic Specialist or Heavy Equipment/Industrial Maintenance Mechanic or Plant Engineer or Plant Service Tech.

Job Summary
Responsible for the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and fabrication of mechanical equipment in an asphalt production plant to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plant equipment including conveyors, dryers, burners, screens, elevators, pumps, motors, and mixers.
- Mechanical and electrical experience is needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance, scheduled repairs, and emergency breakdowns.
- Weld and fabricate parts and components as needed.
- Inspect equipment, identify issues, and ensure proper function after repairs.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Document repairs and assist with plant operations when required.
Requirements
- Mechanical maintenance experience (asphalt/aggregate plant preferred).
- Welding (ARC/MIG), hydraulics, and troubleshooting a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and equipment manuals.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus.
- Physically fit for heavy lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in varying weather.
- Flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends during peak season.
