Duties
- Install various appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and ovens according to manufacturer specifications and schematics.
- Conduct equipment troubleshooting to diagnose issues and perform repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other equipment safely and effectively during installations and repairs.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions to ensure precise setup.
- Perform maintenance tasks on appliances and related systems to ensure ongoing functionality.
- Operate company vehicles—including box trucks—responsibly for delivery and service calls.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction during each visit.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, installation, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical work, plumbing connections, refrigeration systems, HVAC components, and assembly processes.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other field service equipment safely.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately for proper installation procedures.
- Experience operating company vehicles such as box trucks or similar delivery vehicles responsibly.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism.
- Background in maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), electrical experience, or service technician roles is highly valued.
