What are the responsibilities and job description for the Appliance Delivery Specialist position at Page Hardware & Appliance Co.?
Page Hardware & Appliance Co. is looking for appliance delivery/install team members. Applicants should strive to give our customers a positive lasting impression of their appliance purchases by providing exceptional delivery experiences.
Deliver major appliances to customer homes in Connecticut with a partner or alone. Shifts depend upon demand, includes every other Saturday shift. 7:00 AM start time, variable end time depending on jobs load.
Requirements:
- The desire to satisfy customers with a superior delivery experience
- Common sense, problem-solving skills, politeness, and a positive attitude
- Current, valid driver's license with clean record (no alcohol-related violations)
- Consistent observation of traffic laws and speed limits
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
- Punctuality for 7:00 AM shift start time
- Ability to accurately use a tape measure
- Ability to lift 80 lbs or more on a regular basis and to effectively use a hand truck with a partner
***Delivery, assembly, installation experience a plus but not necessary. Willing to train the right applicants.
