Account Manager (Outside Sales)

Job Description
Construction Materials Group is looking for an Account Manager to join our team. This is an outside sales position focused on developing new business and maintaining relationships with existing commercial customers. The right person will be comfortable spending time in the field calling on contractors, identifying opportunities, and following through to close.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact for assigned customers and handle day-to-day account needs.
- Prospect and call on new accounts to build lasting relationships and grow sales.
- Keep up with current projects, bids, and opportunities within your territory.
- Work with our inside sales and operations teams to make sure customers get what they need—on time and within budget.
- Keep track of quotes, orders, and renewals, and stay organized as you manage multiple accounts.
- Learn our full product line so you can recognize opportunities to offer added value to customers.
Qualifications
- Some experience in sales, customer service, or construction supply is helpful (internship or professional).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships easily.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to handle several things at once.
- Comfortable working independently in the field and managing your own schedule.
