What You Will Be Doing
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and dock equipment (levelers, doors, etc.).
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair screen printing and embroidery machinery.
- Conduct general building maintenance such as HVAC systems, lighting, plumbing, doors, and office fixtures.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize disruption and support smooth operations.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and service calls as needed.
- Assist with installation and setup of new equipment and office fixtures.
- Maintain organized tools, parts inventory, and a clean maintenance workspace.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with forklifts or material handling equipment preferred.
- Ability to read technical manuals and troubleshoot equipment issues independently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for maintenance logs and reporting.
- 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, warehouse, or industrial environment.
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Strong knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals and effectively troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in a warehouse environment.
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying temperatures.
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Basic computer skills for documenting maintenance activities.
- Experience with forklifts or material handling equipment.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
