In this highly collaborative and fast-paced environment, you’ll be a core creative partner for CFMA campaigns, CFMA Building Profits magazine, events, and member communications, designing assets that help construction financial professionals learn, connect, and thrive.
Reporting to the Director of Art & Design, this role requires someone with 3-6 years of professional design experience, a strong portfolio, curiosity, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple projects from concept to execution.

What You’ll Do:
Digital, Social & Email Design
- Create campaign assets for email, social media, and digital advertising.
- Design visuals for CFMA’s website, education programs, and member resources.
- Produce short-form video and motion graphics optimized for social platforms.
Print & Publication Design
- Support design and production for CFMA Building Profits magazine (6 issues annually).
- Source artwork, design covers, build article layouts, and prepare files for print.
- Create print collateral including flyers, reports, one-pagers, and signage.
Event & Conference Creative
- Support design production, signage, promotional materials, and digital collateral for CFMA’s Annual Conference & Exhibition.
- Develop visual identities that extend across print and digital event touchpoints.
Presentation & Template Design
- Build branded PowerPoint templates, slide decks, and presentation graphics.
Collaboration & Project Execution
- Translate project needs into clear, effective visual solutions.
- Maintain brand consistency using established style guides and templates.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously using Monday.com and Adobe/Canva workflows.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams with professionalism and customer focus.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field – or equivalent experience.
- 3-6 years of professional design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating brand, print, social, and web design work.
Technical Expertise
- Strong experience in Canva.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Experience designing for both print and digital, including prepping files for production.
- Strong foundation in layout, typography, color theory, and composition.
- Ability to develop visually compelling designs that align with brand identity and project goals.
- Familiarity with PowerPoint, CRM/email platforms like HubSpot, and Monday.com.
- Experience with short-form video and understanding of social video specs.
- Comfort navigating digital cloud-based file storage and collaboration tools.
