**Future Opportunity**
CSEngineering is seeking a Software Architect to join our growing team! This role is vital in supporting solution development by providing technical oversight, recommendations, and architectural capabilities across the entire solution process, including UI/UX. The ideal candidate will bring strong systems integration expertise and the ability to lead technical planning and design efforts within a Defense Agency environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Software Architect will design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software. This includes addressing problems related to systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms, while maintaining responsibility for overall project completion.
- The Software Architect will provide technical oversight and architectural guidance across the full solution development lifecycle. This includes participating in technical planning, definition, and high-level design of solutions and alternatives to meet customer expectations.
- The position will perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects and present findings to management to support informed decision-making.
- The role will ensure that proposed solutions are technically sound, scalable, and aligned with organizational and mission objectives.
- The Software Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software solutions across platforms and systems.
- This includes providing recommendations on architecture, design patterns, and emerging technologies that improve system performance and reliability.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Security Clearance: IT-II security clearance or NACLC
DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I recommended - accepted certifications include A CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network CE, or SSCP
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in software architecture and development
Experience designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software
Demonstrated ability to address systems integration, compatibility, and multi-platform challenges
Experience conducting feasibility analysis on potential projects and presenting recommendations to management
Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and their application within the solution development process
Ability to participate in technical planning, solution definition, and high-level architectural design
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Location: Washington, DC (NCR) with potential travel to other government sites as required.

Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
