What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Lifecycle / eCommerce position at Constant Hire?
We’re hiring a Head of Lifecycle / eCommerce to own the full post-purchase customer journey for a fast-growing, venture-backed DTC food brand. If you love digging into cohorts, building experiments that deepen LTV, and shaping thoughtful customer journeys from first order through long-term loyalty, this role is for you.
This is a high-impact position on a lean, execution-focused team. You’ll work cross-functionally with growth, CX, creative, and product to turn insights into programs that lift repeat purchase rate, AOV, and subscription adoption. You’ll also play a key role in improving onsite experience in Shopify and partnering with developers on CRO tests.
What you’ll do
• Own the full lifecycle strategy across email, SMS, and direct mail
• Build, optimize, and segment flows (post-purchase, winback, replenishment, education, subscription nurture)
• Lead cohort analysis, LTV modeling, and customer insights to inform monthly retention and A/B testing roadmaps
• Identify moments in the customer journey that can drive meaningful increases in repeat purchase and payback period
• Develop experiments to improve conversion, AOV, and retention across the post-acquisition funnel
• Partner with CX to translate customer feedback into site updates, journey improvements, and new lifecycle triggers
• Collaborate with creative to brief, test, and optimize messaging and visual concepts
• Work in Shopify to support light merchandising updates, QA, and CRO implementation (no coding required, but familiarity expected)
• Manage developer partners on technical updates, landing page improvements, and onsite testing
What we’re looking for
• 3–6 years in DTC lifecycle, retention, CRM, or growth roles
• Strong command of LTV, cohort analysis, and performance reporting
• Hands-on in Klaviyo, Attentive, or similar ESP/SMS platforms
• Experience running structured A/B tests across lifecycle and onsite experiences
• Comfort partnering with developers (or agencies) to execute CRO projects
• Familiarity with Shopify, site merchandising, and optimizing PDP/landing page flow
• Background in a DTC brand where lifecycle meaningfully drives revenue
• Bonus: experience with subscription businesses or high-repeat categories
• Curious, data-driven, scrappy, and excited by lean teams

Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
