The Marketing Intern position is responsible for applying knowledge from classes to on-the-job training and provide overall support for the Marketing Department.

Essential Functions
Internship allowing student to apply learned knowledge of the Marketing field in a business environment. Program allows student to shadow and assist Marketing Department with many aspects and projects. Topics covered may include the following depending on availability of current work assignments.

• Give support to advertising programs and communication programs designed to promote products and services.
• Assist in a variety of areas including graphic design, social media, content creation, and special events.
• Support the development, execution, and analysis of social media campaigns.
• Assist in the sourcing, designing, and ordering of promotional products.
• Manage and distribute marketing collateral to all locations.
• Assist with administrative tasks including the revision of flyers, price sheets, brochures, and other items, as needed.
• Manage and maintain the companys employee store, answering questions, maintaining communication, and ensuring distribution of items.
• Shadow the Marketing Manager on photoshoots and assist with behind-the-scenes tasks.
• Acquire latest insight into online marketing trends and updating strategies.
• Develop organizational skills to handle the challenges associated with the fast-paced environment.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Work Environment
This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Required Education and Experience

• Must be currently enrolled in (as a Junior or Senior status) or recently graduated from a Graphic Design or Marketing/Advertising program at an accredited college or university
• Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven setting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
