Maintain product flow to and from outside service vendors.
Primary Responsibilities
- Review PEIs.
- Verify that casting meets PEI.
- Communicate with outside vendors.
- Enter information in computer to create Purchase Order (P.O.)
- Pack castings for shipment.
- Check incoming castings from internal and external suppliers.
- Receive PO back into the system.
- Move product to next operation.
- Driving/Delivery duties as needed: Pick up and deliver parts from/to various OSP vendors and customers as well as FedEx and UPS.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Certifications/Licenses: Valid drivers license required.
- Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Read. Write legibly. Basic computer skills. Knowledgeable in the use of Oracle. Good verbal communication skills. Good written communication skills. Detail oriented. Sense of urgency.
- Preferably, 6 months experience using Oracle.
- Experience using pallet jacks preferred.
- On-Site: Can be cold: next to shipping and the outside bay door
- Physical Demands: Sitting/Standing for extended periods of time, extended period of time driving, able to lift up to 50lbs, extended periods of time using a computer screen, extended periods of time talking, listening. Bending. Reach.
- Required PPE: Check for required PPE in areas you may be working in. Must follow PPE requirements when at vendor locations.
- Safety Glasses: Needed in all areas of the plant.
- Steel toe shoes: Needed in all areas of the plant.
