Job Title: Production Control – Planner/Scheduler
Wage Range: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Reports to: Plant/Operations Manager
Job Summary:
Meet customer and business needs by coordinating and expediting the production schedule. Cut jobs according to the manufacturing schedule and sales orders received. Review and distribute production jobs. Communicate schedule status to the team on a daily basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following;
(Other duties may be assigned):
- Own the daily production schedule for the plant including sold and stock orders.
- Cut production orders according to build schedule and sales orders.
- Maintain flow of all documents that accompany build and production capacity.
- Delivers Jobs as needed to respective departments.
- Work with Production Leads to ensure Schedule dates are achieved.
- Process completed jobs.
- Log Production jobs in process.
- Train team members as needed to access schedules.

Education and/or Experience:
- Experience in manufacturing or other planning/scheduling activities preferred.
- Strong administrative capabilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with frequent re-prioritization.
- Analytical and computer skills necessary.
- Seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, mature individual with a desire to succeed and grow with the position.
- Training on business systems will be provided.
