Maintenance Coordinator

Wage: Up to $24.00 an hour plus quarterly bonus incentives and paid breaks!

Job Summary: 

The Maintenance Coordinator will perform general maintenance inside and outside of the building(s) and on facility grounds. General maintenance will include cleaning, basic repairs of facilities and assigned equipment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned): 

• Participate in and utilize principles of 6S.
• Clean and maintain floors (sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming). Gathers and empties trash.
• Cleaning and sanitizing restroom facilities, breakroom, and conference room.
• Removing snow and ice from walkways and parking lots.
• Handling light facility repairs such as changing lightbulbs, air filters and door closers.
• Keeping janitor room and closets clean and organized.
• Performs general carpentry related repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
• Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
• Assists with upkeep of the exterior of the facilities to include lawn care, landscaping, and window cleaning.
• Maintains supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Supports and conforms to Quality Management System requirements as defined by CEG and ISO 9001:201.5.

Education and/or Experience:

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
• Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and operate power equipment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
  1. Work includes moving and lifting objects up to 50 pounds at a time.
