The Digital Products team supporting Energy Efficiency, and EMobility initiatives leads the development of innovative technology solutions that support clean electrification and transportation initiatives. Our work empowers both our customers and the environment. As a Clean Energy Manager you will lead a talented technical team in designing, building and integrating robust software solutions enabling clean energy objectives. You will be accountable for the full software development lifecycle ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable and high-performance solutions. You must be effective in communicating design considerations, benefits and recommendations for solutions that deliver business value in alignment with enterprise-level architectures. Your experience will be utilized to help guide business processes through technology adoption in streamlining user experiences to improve the overall adoption and success rates of clean energy programs. Your leadership will directly influence the clean energy transformation for millions of New Yorkers.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers and software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with business leads, vendors and implementation contractors to understand sales/marketing journeys and address their objectives through technical solutions
  • Partner with product management, business process owners and external vendors to deliver integrated, user-focused solutions comprehensive of system integrations, data management and secure authentication
  • Lead teams and workshops to facilitate the design, implementation, and delivery of comprehensive End-to-End Technical Solutions
  • Drive architectural vision guiding the technical direction for solutions and ensuring alignment with overall enterprise strategy
  • Possess experience with innovative technologies, including OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, and Generative AI (GenAI), applying these to drive new capabilities.
  • Oversee the operation and upgrades of PaaS/SaaS platforms like Salesforce and their corresponding interfaces.
  • Apply and conform to the Company's Cyber Security standards, prioritizing robust security measures.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignment as required

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Master's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Preferred Education/Experience
  • Master's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Relevant Work Experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge in an Agile Framework, Required.
  • Experience with environment management, release management, code versioning, deployment methodologies, Required.
  • Experience in implementation for full lifecycle enterprise software projects Required.
  • Familiarity with multiple implementation standards and methodologies, Required.
  • Experience with APIs and Web Services (REST/SOAP/Bulk) Required.
  • Experience leading development teams, Required.
  • Experience developing Salesforce or CRM customizations, Preferred.
  • Experience creating technical architecture and technical requirements documentation for cloud/on-prem implementations, Preferred.
  • Experience in Energy Efficiency Industry and Programs, Preferred.
  • Strong background in Cloud Computing solutions cloud computing strategy, systems design, implementation and management, Preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Driver's License Required
  • Other: Salesforce Solutions Architect Preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred
  • Other: Agile Certification Preferred
Additional Physical Demands
  • The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
