We are seeking a technically-minded and analytically-driven Entry-Level Asset Management Engineer to support the performance and optimization of thermal and renewable power generation assets. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering who are interested in applying their technical background to the commercial, financial, and operational aspects of energy asset management.
You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and asset managers to monitor asset performance, support budgeting and planning, and ensure compliance with operational and contractual requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring technical and financial performance indicators for energy assets.
- Support the development of annual operating budgets and business plans.
- Help ensure compliance with technical contracts and reporting obligations.
- Contribute to performance reporting and stakeholder communications.
- Build and maintain engineering and financial models using Excel and other tools for energy invoicing and performance reporting.
- Participate in meetings with project owners, operators, and technical teams.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts across engineering, finance, and operations.
- Help organize and maintain technical documentation and project records.
- Learn to identify operational trends and recommend improvements.
