Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Furniture Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by assisting with the movement and delivery of furniture items. This position requires physical stamina, excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in loading and unloading furniture items from trucks.
- Safely move and transport furniture in and out of customers' homes.
- Drive box trucks for deliveries, ensuring timely arrival at customer locations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and delivery areas.
- Maintain personal hygene and wear company provided uniform shirts according to Consign Furniture handbook
Qualifications
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and move large furniture items safely.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Previous experience as a courier or in a similar role is beneficial.
- Must be able to work well as part of a team and independently when required.
- A commitment to safety protocols and procedures is essential.
