About this Role: The Knowledge & Content Systems Director will own the processes, systems and quality standards that power our pursuits. This role shapes how we capture, organize, and retrieve knowledge—ensuring proposal teams, business development leaders, and market leaders have the right information at the right time. As Consertus grows and integrates additional firms, this position becomes the anchor for integrating qualifications content including resumes, case studies, best practice methodologies, and firm-level credentials into a unified ecosystem. This is a high-impact, visible role with direct influence on revenue generation, brand consistency, and enterprise-wide knowledge health.

Key Responsibilities

Content Leadership & Governance

  • Oversee and manage all BD-critical content platforms, including the content and image libraries and Flowcase, ensuring information is accessible, current, and aligned with Consertus standards.
  • Establish clear governance for how content is stored and maintained.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for content entering the library, reviewing format, messaging, accuracy, and compliance with branding and BD strategy.

Enterprise Knowledge Integration

  • Lead onboarding of qualifications and content for all incoming firms including resumes, project sheets, case studies, boilerplate, and firm-level credentials.
  • Ensure new firm qualifications are integrated into Flowcase and mapped to the appropriate business units, end markets, and teams.
  • Ensure qualification statements remain updated for each end market and business unit, adding new expertise as additional firms and capabilities come online.
  • Partner with IT to connect content with enterprise system (Consertus AI) training
  • Train BD and technical teams on content systems, usage protocols, and best practices for maintaining high-quality information.
  • Develop guidance and workflows to ensure the pursuit teams always have easy access to reliable information including resumes, project descriptions, and core proposal content.

Content Quality & Narrative Consistency

  • Maintain the accuracy and usability of proposal materials including staff bios, case studies, past performance content, and boiler responses used across pursuits.
  • Work closely with pursuit team leaders to keep narrative libraries current and aligned with Consertus’ evolving service lines.
  • Drive continuous improvement across content formats to ensure material is polished, digestible, and differentiated

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 10-15 years of experience in knowledge management, proposal development, content strategy, or related discipline within organizations that deliver complex capital projects. Previous AEC industry experience highly preferred.
  • Experience operating at a scale, preferably supporting global or multi-regional organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead knowledge systems, including content libraries, resume platforms, and structured qualification repositories.
  • Strong understanding of how BD teams use content across pursuits, proposals, and client-facing materials.
  • Proven success implementing new workflows, training teams, and driving adoption across a broad user base.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and systems-thinking skills.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Flowcase, SharePoint, Salesforce, or equivalent content-management tools; experience with integrations a plus.
  • Ability to work across a matrixed organization and manage competing priorities
  • Training & Enablement experience for onboarding teams to new systems.

Working Hours / Compensation Range

  • Expected compensation range is between $140,000K- $175,000K annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
  • Full-time, Exempt. Standard business hours with occasional evenings and weekends during peak workloads.
  • Hybrid/Remote role depending on proximity to a local office, with approximately 10% travel.
  • Candidates based in North America and within proximity to a Consertus office are preferred.

What’s In It For You

  • Company-paid life and disability insurance
  • Optional benefits like pet insurance, legal, and supplemental health plans
  • 401(k) with day-one eligibility, 3% safe harbor, plus up to 2.5% company match
