About The Role
Consertus is seeking two (2) Contract Administrators to support our Metrolink capital program based in Pomona, CA. These hybrid roles are expected to be onsite Tuesday–Thursday, with the remaining business days worked remotely, subject to project and client needs.
The Contract Administrator will assist with post-award contract administration activities on assigned projects, ensuring compliance with contract terms, supporting change/claim analysis, and maintaining accurate and complete contract files. You will work closely with project managers, commercial teams, and Metrolink staff to keep contractor performance, documentation, and reporting on track.
This position is well-suited for a contract administration professional with 5–15 years of experience (minimum 3 years required), preferably within the rail or transit sector, and hands-on experience using Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or a similar enterprise business system.

Key Responsibilities
In alignment with the contract, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the day-to-day activities associated with post-award contract administration for assigned contracts.
- Support efforts to ensure compliance with contract terms and the requirements of the scope of work, including schedule, deliverables, and commercial conditions.
- Assist in drafting and/or reviewing letters and memoranda regarding commercial and contractual matters, in coordination with project management and commercial leadership.
- Assist in preparing analysis of contractor submissions related to changes, potential changes, and claims, including gathering supporting documentation and helping develop recommendations.
- Process documentation related to contract closeout, ensuring all administrative, financial, and technical requirements have been satisfied.
- Assist in preparing reports on contractor performance and maintaining accurate, complete contract files, both electronic and hard copy, in accordance with agency and Consertus requirements.
- Enter, update, and track contract-related data in Oracle EBS (or equivalent EBS modules), as well as spreadsheets and internal tracking tools.
- Coordinate with project controls, finance, and procurement to align contract actions with budgets, funding sources, and program reporting needs.
- Support internal and external audits or reviews related to contracts, changes, and compliance documentation.
- Associate’s degree in administration, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a contract administration role.
- Transit-related experience is desirable.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) for contracts, purchasing, or financial modules (or comparable enterprise business systems).
- Knowledge of contract management systems, spreadsheets, database management, and word processing software.
- Active membership in AACE, PMI, or similar professional association is desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience supporting commuter rail, urban rail, or other transit agency capital programs (e.g., Metrolink, LA Metro, other regional rail operators).
- Familiarity with changes, claims, and time/cost impact documentation, including working with project management and project controls teams.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication, including the ability to summarize contractual issues and recommendations for project leadership.
- Primary Work Location: Metrolink offices/project site in Pomona, CA.
- Schedule: Hybrid – onsite Tuesday–Thursday, with remaining business days worked remotely, subject to project needs and client requirements.

Salary : $140,000 - $147,000
