What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychotherapist Private Practice - Fee for Service Contract (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC) position at Conscious Psychotherapy, LCSW, P.C.?
Per Hour Rate is actually rate per session and is dependent on licensure. Since the rates are dependent on licensure, fully licensed LCSW's and LMHC's start at $50 per session.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Duties:
- Conduct individual therapy sessions (45-60Min) such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Person Centered Therapy, trauma informed therapies or any other evidence based framework for psychotherapy.
- Provide care coordination and support to clients, collaborating with parents, psychiatrists, schools, and other involved professionals as needed.
- Establish and maintain timely clinical case records, including, but not limited to psychological intakes, treatment plans, progress notes and risk assessments.
- Meet for supervision with Director as required for LMSW's.
- Contact and vet referrals, providing consultations if needed.
-Establish client appointments and manage scheduling for client sessions.
Skills:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor, in the state of NY.
- Strong knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques and person-centered therapy, crisis intervention strategies preferred (knowledge of DBT, ERT or ACT a plus).
- Dependable self-starter, able to work independently.

About the position:
-It is a fee for service, independent contractor position.
-Candidates must see clients a minimum of 2 days a week.
-The position can be all remote or hybrid depending on licensure. LMSW's must be hybrid and provide one day in office. LCSW's & LMHC's have the choice of being all remote or hybrid.
-All license levels increase in compensation considered and typically given after a year of effective service!
