Children's Counselor - Fee for Service (CFTSS)

RiseWell Community Services is looking for Children’s Counselor to join the Children & Family Treatment Support Services Program.

Our Children and Family Treatment Support Services, which includes individual, group, or family therapy, family peer support, and rehabilitation services, strengthen children/youth and their families to help them make informed decisions about their care through evidence-based practices. Primary goals include rebuilding relationships, enhancing communication, learning coping skills, incorporating therapy into everyday practice, assessments for mental health and/or substance use needs, and more.

In this role, you will provide Services to Children and youth under 21 years old. Offer community based support and services to children in non-institutionalized settings that enable them to remain at home and in the community. Offer participants independent choices among an array of service options and providers. These services include: 1. CPST, community psychiatric supports and treatment 2. PSR, psychosocial rehabilitation. Responsible for all documentation including assessments, service plans, progress notes, authorizations and other needed information as per program policy and procedures.

*Services will be provided w/in your scope of practice so all services may not apply.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Service delivery is expected be provided with appropriate professional license within scope of services when applicable. Candidate must hold at least a BA degree and have some experience with children. Clean, valid NYS Driver’s License. Fingerprinting, criminal record check, and all necessary clearances from the Justice Center.
