Commercial Roofing Estimator

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team in Delran, NJ. This is a full-time, in-office position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in estimating commercial roofing projects, and values working within a strong, team-focused culture. The ideal candidate will bring integrity, accuracy, and strong communication skills to support our growing project pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate estimates for commercial roofing projects, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, and re-roofs
- Review bid documents, drawings, and specifications to determine project scope
- Perform take-offs, material counts, and labor analyses
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure accurate pricing and project planning
- Assist in developing project budgets and cost strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client discussions as needed
- Provide detailed proposals and ensure timely submission of bids
- Support project handoff processes to ensure smooth execution after award
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in commercial roofing estimating (all systems)
- Strong understanding of roofing materials, labor, and industry standards
- Ability to read plans, specs, and drawings
- Proficiency with take-off and estimating tools
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, CRM or project software)
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- High level of professionalism and ability to work collaboratively
