JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under direct supervision, enter student and staff data into computer databases.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enter alphabetic, numeric or symbolic data from source document using online computer terminal or personal computer.
- Keys and verifies results according to procedures provided.
- Recognizes and corrects errors in original data prior to processing.
- Recognizes deficiencies in source documents and returns them to originator for correction.
- Maintains campus student and staff database.
- Clerical duties for office administrator
- Maintains physical and computerized departmental records.
- Maintains confidentiality
- Regular attendance
EXPERIENCE:
- Some data entry experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and do word processing
- Proficient typing, keyboarding, file maintenance and 10-key skills
- Ability to meet established deadlines
- Ability to use the district’s Management Information System software
