we are working with a growing mid-sized commercial construction company seeking an experienced Estimator to support our healthcare, retail, and commercial construction projects throughout Ohio. The ideal candidate will have strong estimating experience with a background in masonry and skilled trades, along with the ability to develop accurate, competitive project estimates from concept through bid submission.
Responsibilities
- Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Analyze project risks and identify value engineering opportunities.
- Collaborate with project managers, field personnel, architects, engineers, and clients during preconstruction.
- Maintain current knowledge of market pricing, labor rates, and construction trends.
- Assist with budgeting, conceptual estimating, and bid proposals.
Salary : $105,000 - $125,000
