Key Responsibilities
- Quality Strategy & Leadership
- Define and implement the overall Quality Engineering strategy.
- Establish quality standards, metrics, and best practices across projects.
- Lead and mentor QA/QE engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Drive shift-left testing and quality-first practices.
- Test Planning & Execution
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test approaches.
- Oversee functional, integration, regression, system, UAT, and non-functional testing activities.
- Ensure adequate test coverage and traceability to business requirements.
- Review test results and provide quality sign-off for releases.
- Test Automation
- Lead automation framework design and implementation.
- Identify opportunities for increased automation and efficiency.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor automation effectiveness and optimize test suites.
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Development Teams, Release Managers, and Business Stakeholders.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, issues, and quality metrics.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and release planning activities.
- Defect & Risk Management
- Drive defect triage and root cause analysis.
- Ensure critical defects are tracked and resolved before release.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
