Support Device Management & Configuration
Education:
The IT Intern will assist the IT team with various tasks related to technology management, security, system configuration, and general end-user support. Duties And Responsibilities
Support Device Management & Configuration
- Assist in deploying and configuring Microsoft Intune and Autopilot for remote devices.
- Install applications, set up SSO portals, and implement security policies to ensure device compliance.
- Troubleshoot device deployment issues and ensure proper installation of critical applications such as BitLocker and Office 365.
- Assist in deploying and managing Wazuh for endpoint security monitoring.
- Integrate data from various sources into Wazuh to enhance monitoring capabilities.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report potential security threats or anomalies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of device configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and deployment processes.
- Prepare progress reports for review by the IT team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
- Update procedural guides and knowledge base materials to support continuous improvement.
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss ongoing projects, challenges, and priorities.
- Share findings, insights, and solutions to contribute to team success.
- Work collaboratively with mentors to gain practical knowledge and improve skills.
- Research emerging technologies and methodologies relevant to device management, security, and cloud solutions.
- Recommend improvements to current processes based on findings and best practices.
- Test new tools and solutions under the guidance of senior team members.
- Respond to basic inquiries or troubleshooting requests from users related to systems under development.
- Assist users with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of devices and applications.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate IT personnel.
Education:
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of IT systems, network management, and security principles.
- Familiarity with cloud solutions, device management, or endpoint security tools is preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document processes clearly and concisely.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a structured manner.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and general computer literacy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
- Capability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and technologies.

- This position is a hybrid role, requiring the intern to work 2-3 days per week in the office, with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.
