Workday Product Director
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite)
Employment Type: 6 months Contract-to-Hire

We are seeking an experienced Workday Product Director to lead enterprise-wide strategy, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across Workday Financials and Procurement solutions within a large and complex public-sector environment.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving product strategy, overseeing large cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery of enterprise transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Workday Financial Management, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record managing large-scale ERP programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for Workday Financials and Procurement modules
- Lead, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team of functional analysts, administrators, and technical specialists
- Partner with executive leadership and business stakeholders to align Workday initiatives with organizational goals
- Oversee implementation projects, enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives
- Drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement across finance and procurement processes
- Serve as the primary liaison between business and technical teams
- Manage Workday integrations, reporting, and platform capabilities to support enterprise operations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data governance, and security standards
- Lead stakeholder communication, training, and change management efforts
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, risks, and overall delivery success
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in enterprise financial systems and ERP environments
- 5 years of leadership experience managing large cross-functional teams
- Deep expertise with Workday Financials, Procurement, and related modules
- Strong understanding of Workday configuration, integrations, reporting, and optimization
- Proven experience leading large-scale Workday implementations and enterprise transformation initiatives
- Strong knowledge of finance, procurement, and operational business processes
- Experience working within large public-sector, government, or highly complex enterprise environments
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with Workday Studio, Workday Integrations, and reporting tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday certifications
- MBA or advanced degree
- Experience with additional ERP platforms
- Strong background in enterprise governance, compliance, and change management
