Job Title: Wastewater Treatment Operator
Pay Rate: $29 – $30/hr
Location: Attleboro, MA
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00am – 3:45pm)
Duration: Temp-to-Perm
About the Role
We are seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator to join our team in Attleboro, MA. This is a new position created to support our existing operations. The ideal candidate will hold at least a Massachusetts Industrial Class Wastewater License (Level 1 or 2 minimum) and bring hands-on experience in wastewater operations, chemical processes, and environmental compliance.
Some weekend work is required, but this will rotate with other team members—meaning you will not be expected to cover every weekend.
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and adjust wastewater treatment and chemical process systems.
- Record operating data, test results, and instrument readings.
- Collect samples and perform quality control testing to ensure standards are met.
- Safely start, shut down, and maintain pumps, tanks, and related equipment.
- Patrol work areas and respond to potential overflow or safety concerns.
- Collaborate with supervisors and peers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste in compliance with regulations.
- Maintain proper labeling, container inspections, and environmental documentation.
- Complete routine reports to support regulatory and environmental requirements.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and quality control processes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Massachusetts Industrial Class Wastewater License (Level 1 or 2 minimum; Level 4 preferred).
- Experience with chemical processing, wastewater treatment, or related operations.
- Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends.
- Strong attention to detail, safety mindset, and problem-solving skills.
