Financial Controller
A growing manufacturing company in the Gainesville, GA area is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to oversee all day-to-day accounting and financial operations. This role will be responsible for managing the full month-end close process, financial reporting, cash management, and development of budgets and forecasts. The Controller will provide financial visibility to leadership and serve as a key business partner to plant/operations teams to support profitability, cost control, and process efficiency.
Core focus areas will include maintaining the general ledger, managing cost accounting activities, ensuring strong internal controls, preparing financial statements, and supporting external audits. The position will also evaluate current processes across accounting and operations, identifying opportunities to tighten controls, streamline reporting, and improve overall financial performance. Exposure to inventory, standard costing, manufacturing variances, and operational KPIs is strongly preferred.
