JOB PURPOSE
The Brand Manager is responsible for management of the day-to-day initiatives of the account. The Brand Manager is instrumental in the development and implementation of new projects/plans as well as the ongoing maintenance of existing projects to ensure successful execution.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Develop solid knowledge of client’s business and markets.
- Contribute meaningfully to internal creative/media/social/PR reviews.
- Assist in the development of recommendations, including gathering and analyzing industry information.
- Develop/review all client-facing materials including presentations, marketing strategies, media/social recommendations, ongoing reporting dashboards to ensure accuracy and prepare for potential client questions.
- Develop strong relationships with client peers and agency associates, managing workflow and client expectations accordingly.
- Keep the client informed of all project timelines and alert them to any potential delays
- Deliver agency communications in a clear, concise and consistent manner, keep the agency team informed to any changes in project direction, client/competitive climate.
- Oversee the development and accuracy of project timelines and budgets.
- Oversee client budget tracker.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3 years’ experience with minimum 2 years of direct client interaction
- Proven ability to convey ideas through solid written and oral presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage less experienced team members and provide clear direction
- Comfort and ability to communicate with your team and your managers
- Ability to work well with others and gain trust of clients and teammates
