What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter position at Connell Construction?
Connell Construction is a residential construction company based in Bodega Bay, CA. We handle a mix of remodels, new construction, and exterior repairs. Most of our work is either on the coast around Bodega Bay, or in the towns of; Sebastopol, Graton, Occidental,... We focus on high end finishes and materials, building projects meant to last on the coast.
We are currently expanding in preparation for several large projects. We are looking for both experienced carpenters and people who would like to be carpenters apprentices.
Anybody applying for these positions should live in the Sonoma County area, we often work on the coast. You also must have a drivers license and your own vehicle.
There are no prior qualifications needed to apply for the carpenters apprentice position. Previous labor experience is a plus. You do need to have a desire to learn about carpentry and want to progress to a more independent carpenter. Wages for this position start at $26 per hour.
For the carpenters position we are looking for people with at least 3 years of previous residential carpentry experience. You must have a good collection of personal tools. Wages for the carpenters positions will vary depending on experience.
