HR Analyst– Techno-Functional Oracle HCM Cloud (Workforce Compensation)

About the Role
We're looking for a Lead Analyst, HR Services to join a growing HR Systems team supporting a large, established organization. In this role, you'll serve as the functional subject matter expert for Oracle HCM Cloud, with a primary focus on Workforce Compensation. You'll lead the end-to-end annual compensation cycle — from planning and configuration through testing, deployment, and post-cycle support — while partnering closely with HR and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, well-governed system solutions.
This is a high-visibility role for someone who enjoys translating business needs into practical system configurations and who takes pride in accuracy, process improvement, and strong stakeholder relationships.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the functional SME for Oracle HCM Cloud Workforce Compensation
- Lead the complete annual compensation cycle: planning, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-cycle support
- Configure and maintain compensation plans, eligibility rules, budgets, worksheets, and approval workflows
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely functional support to HR and business users
- Partner with HR stakeholders — including non-technical teams — to translate business requirements into Oracle HCM solutions
- Perform system testing for new functionality, patches, and quarterly Oracle releases
- Document configuration changes, business requirements, and testing outcomes
- Recommend best practices to improve compensation processes and the overall user experience
- Support reporting, data validation, and issue resolution throughout the compensation cycle
What You Bring
- Extensive hands-on functional experience with Oracle HCM Cloud (not solely as an end user or HR administrator)
- Deep functional expertise in Oracle Workforce Compensation, including merit/bonus planning, worksheets, eligibility rules, budgets, and approvals
- Proven experience leading a complete annual compensation cycle from planning through post-production support
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills — comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical HR teams
- Experience with additional Oracle HCM Cloud modules a plus: Core HR, Talent Management, Recruiting, Benefits, Absence Management, Oracle EBS Time & Labor, or UKG
- Experience integrating Workforce Compensation with other Oracle HCM Cloud modules a plus
- Advanced Excel, Power BI, and/or SQL skills a plus
Important Requirements
- Strong, demonstrated job tenure required. Our consultants typically average 3 years per role, and we are looking for candidates with a stable work history who are seeking a long-term fit.

- Must be able to work onsite 5 days/week in Downtown Houston, TX (non-negotiable).
