Summary
We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Idaho Falls, ID. This role is vital in providing exceptional therapy services that contribute to the development and well-being of our pediatric clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions that promote independence in activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide education and support to families regarding therapeutic strategies.
- Participate in early intervention programs for children with developmental delays.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.
- Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and therapeutic techniques for children.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with families and team members.
- Ability to create engaging treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Familiarity with telehealth practices is a plus.
