Duties
- Develop customized practice plans tailored to individual skill levels and learning styles
- Teach proper swimming techniques, water safety skills, and stroke development with enthusiasm and clarity
- Monitor swimmers during practice sessions to ensure safety and provide constructive feedback
- Lead warm-up exercises, drills, and cool-down routines to enhance performance and prevent injuries
- Manage behavior and foster a respectful, inclusive environment for all participants
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, or program coordinators to track progress and address concerns
- Maintain cleanliness of pool area and ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed at all times
Experience
- Background in competitive swimming is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and students of diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to motivate and discipline young learners positively
- Familiarity with health club or gym environments is a plus
- Strong communication skills to clearly instruct and engage participants of all ages
- Certification in CPR/First Aid or equivalent safety training is required; additional certifications in swimming instruction are preferred
