Full-Time OR Circulator Registered Nurse - Days - responsible for managing nursing care of patients during surgery, ensuring patient safety, and assisting the surgical team by maintaining a sterile and organized environment in Grants, New Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with surgical team members and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care
Prepare the operating room with appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment
Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures
Maintain aseptic and sterile techniques
Document all nursing activities accurately in patient records
Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and postoperative care
Adhere to hospital protocols, safety regulations, and infection control policies
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License - New Mexico or Compact State License
Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
Minimum of 1 year of recent OR Circulating experience required
Preferred Skills:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) Certification preferred
