Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
$22.50 - $27.50 per hour depending on qualifications mileage reimbursement

Connected 2 Therapy provides top of the line school-based therapies to students (occupational, behavioral, speech, nursing, social work, physical, hearing screening, etc.) and ABA therapy to students and private clients. We are currently seeking an amazing RBT to work under the supervision of a BCBA to provide support to clients with the most severe behavior challenges. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs and IEP team for clients with behavior challenges (e.g., physical aggression, self-harm, elopement, destruction of property, other dangerous behavior)
- Provide direct, one-on-one or group therapy sessions to clients, focusing on behavior modification and skill development
- Collect and record data on client progress, behavior, and responses during sessions
- Follow treatment protocols and intervention strategies as outlined by supervising BCBAs
- Intervene directly with clients in emergency situations with/under supervision of BCBA for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns
- Assist with individualized assessments (e.g., curriculum-based, developmental, social skills) under supervision of BCBA
- Coordinate with BCBA to assist with the development of behavior interventions plans
- Coordinate with BCBA to help determine the effectiveness of behavior plans
- Other duties as assigned
Other expectations:
- Demonstrate competence in learned technical skills and stay current with best practices and developments in behavior analysis, including Safety Care training, and implement techniques as directed
- Participate in regular supervision training sessions with BCBAs to review progress, receive feedback, and respond appropriately to feedback to maintain or improve performance and skills accordingly
- Maintain professionalism and comply with applicable legal, regulatory and workplace reporting requirements (e.g., mandatory abuse and neglect reporting)
- Maintain emotional boundaries (i.e., avoid dual relationships, conflicts of interest, social media contacts)
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, supporting team efforts and fostering mutual respect
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred
- Available to travel to and serve multiple clients throughout the state
- Available to work up to 30 hours per week
- Flexible schedule and ability to create and maintain your own schedule
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience working with children with behavioral challenges
- Ability to follow detailed instructions to adapt to evolving behavioral strategies
