Responsibilities
Operates and/or maintains multiple machines according to all job and safety procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Reads, understands and commits to operating the machine and its functions according to the procedure.
- Operates all wash systems in the plant.
- Wash assigned parts in parts washer according to production schedule.
- Ensures parts are cleaned and not damaged as required (visual inspection).
- Reports discrepancies to the Supervisor.
- Move inspected/washed parts to appropriate stock locations.
- Package parts for shipping according to specific instructions.
- Stamp “washed” on one label.
- Complete proper documentation at all levels of job such as shipping labels.
- Maintain general housekeeping tasks, including shared duty of emptying trash containers throughout the plant.
- Performs other tasks as required by the Supervisor.
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic math skills, basic computer skills and excellent attention to detail.
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 1 year of light manufacturing experience required.
This is a 2nd shift position. Regular hours are 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm (Monday to Friday).
