Responsibilities
- Install and maintain low voltage cabling systems for telecommunications and data networks.
- Perform troubleshooting on existing installations to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools and electrical equipment, including voltmeters, to ensure proper installation and functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients during installations or repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during service calls.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards while working in the field.
Skills
- Proficient in computer networking principles and practices.
- Bilingual English/Spanish. ( )
- Experience using hand tools relevant to cabling installation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with telephone systems and low voltage applications.
- Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar field service role is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge to assist in troubleshooting equipment-related issues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
