Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operator

Connect Staffing is hiring an experienced Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operator for a global cold-chain logistics provider operating a refrigerated and freezer warehouse in Jurupa Valley, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $22/hr on a Sunday through Thursday schedule. In this role, you will operate a stand-up high reach forklift to pick and pull orders, perform case picking, and move pallets through narrow aisles in a cold storage environment. This is a steady daytime schedule with a consistent weekly shift pattern.

Pay: $22/hr

Schedule: Sun- Thurs, 10pm-6:30am

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up high reach forklift to pick and pull orders in refrigerated and freezer areas throughout the warehouse.
• Perform case picking and build pallets to order specs
• Navigate narrow aisles safely while moving product to staging and storage locations
• Use an RF scanner to locate, track, and verify products in the warehouse management system
• Work in cold environments including refrigerated cooler and freezer zones throughout the shift
• Follow food-grade cold chain handling procedures and maintain accurate inventory movement
• Conduct pre-shift forklift inspections and document equipment condition on daily checklist

Minimum Requirements

• 12 months of recent stand-up reach forklift experience, including high-reach and case picking
• Valid forklift certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating in narrow-aisle or very narrow-aisle (VNA) warehouse configurations
• Prior work in cold storage, refrigerated warehouses, or freezer facilities
• Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Experience with order picking, pallet building, and inventory accuracy standards
• Background in food distribution, grocery logistics, or cold-chain supply chain operations
• Certified or trained on Crown or Raymond brand stand-up reach truck models
• Preferred prior job titles: Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operator, Reach Truck Operator, High-Reach Operator, Narrow Aisle Forklift Operator, Order Picker Forklift Operator, Reach Truck Driver, Warehouse Forklift Operator, Cold Storage Forklift Operator, Material Handler, Lift Truck Operator

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
• Steel toe boots required (employee-provided); all other PPE provided on site
