Connect Staffing is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Associate for a parts distribution warehouse in Humble, TX. In this role, you will pick and pack parts orders, unload and inspect inbound shipments, and build and load outbound pallets for UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers. This position offers a path to long-term placement at an established distribution operation.
Pay:$15–$16/hr
Schedule: Monday 9:00 AM to Friday 5:00 PM

Responsibilities
- Pick and pack parts according to order specifications and verify accuracy before shipment.
- Unload inbound truck deliveries and check shipments against purchase orders for accuracy.
- Inspect incoming parts for damage, defects, or shortages and report discrepancies.
- Label packages correctly for UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers using shipping systems.
- Build and wrap outbound pallets and load outgoing trucks safely.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits using an RF scanner and WMS (Warehouse Management System).
Minimum Requirements
- 1 year of experience in a shipping, receiving, warehouse, or parts distribution environment.
- Experience with UPS or FedEx shipping systems for processing and labeling outbound orders.
- Hands-on experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) and RF scanner.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift or pallet jack operation experience.
- Familiarity with purchase order (PO) receiving and inbound shipment verification.
- Experience with cycle counts, inventory audits, or organized warehouse storage procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish.
