Connect Staffing is hiring a CNC Machine Operator for a manufacturing facility in Houston, TX. In this role, you will operate CNC production equipment, select and adjust machine settings, and monitor machinery to ensure quality output.
Pay:$22–$27/hr
Schedule:Mon–Fri 5:00pm–5:00am (overnight)

Responsibilities
- Lead-in: You will spend most of your time operating CNC production equipment to manufacture rotor components in a manufacturing plant environment. You'll also:
- Select appropriate machine settings and adjust them as necessary for each production run
- Monitor machinery for problems and make adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Use hand-held measuring tools to verify part dimensions and tolerances
- Read and interpret technical drawings and follow routers to complete work orders
- Document production data accurately and follow established safety procedures
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of CNC machine operation experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Ability to use basic hand-held measuring tools and perform simple math calculations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in rotor manufacturing or similar precision machining environments
- Familiarity with multi-axis CNC equipment and tool offset adjustments
- Experience with quality documentation and data entry systems
- Background in manufacturing environments requiring hearing protection or PPE
- Preferred prior job titles: CNC Operator, CNC Machinist, Machine Operator, Production Machinist, Manufacturing Operator, Rotor Technician, CNC Technician, Precision Machinist, CNC Production Operator, Manufacturing Technician
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and perform repetitive hand movements with fine coordination
- Work boots required (employee-provided)
