Mechanical Engineer – Operations Team

💰 Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 (DOE)
🕒 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Operations Engineering Team supporting onsite work at a major facility. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in an independent work environment and takes ownership of their responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze mechanical systems, equipment, and components
• Develop procedures for safely isolating and servicing equipment
• Provide recommendations for repair or replacement of systems
• Assist in design reviews and preparation of project documentation
• Investigate equipment issues and prepare detailed reports
• Support ongoing operations engineering activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)
• 4 years of mechanical engineering experience
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Requirements

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision (no micromanagement)
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Must be reliable, trustworthy, and a strong communicator
• Valid Texas driver’s license and insurance
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical
• Must be eligible to obtain necessary site access credentials
