Material Handler

MINIMUM 1 YEAR OF RECENT WAREHOUSE EXPERIENCE

Connect Staffing is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Material Handler to join our client’s distribution team in Glendale, AZ.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:30am – 2:00pm

Requirements for Warehouse Material Handler:
• Minimum 1 year of recent warehouse or material handling experience.
• Must be able to speak and understand English (required).
• Able to occasionally lift 35–50 lbs from floor to waist; lift 50–80 lbs from waist to shoulders; and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Able to reach forward, laterally, and occasionally over the shoulders.
• Able to occasionally grasp with moderate force.
• Must be organized and capable of planning routes to maximize efficiency and prevent delays.
• Able to rotate to other work areas within the department or distribution center as needed.

• Prior experience in roles such as Warehouse Associate, Material Handler, Loader/Unloader, General Laborer, Shipping Clerk, or Distribution Associate is a plus!

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Material Handler:
• Follow verbal or written instructions such as bills of materials, shipping documents, or production schedules.
• Safely move and stack materials in the warehouse, staging area, or trailers.
• Load and unload materials by hand where use of mechanical equipment is not practical.
• Use bar code scanners, computer terminals, or other electronic devices to track product movement.
• Maintain organization and accuracy of product flow within the warehouse.
• Rotate to other duties as needed within the department or distribution zone.
