MINIMUM 1 YEAR OF MATERIAL HANDLERConnect Staffing is seeking an experienced Material Handler for a faucet manufacturing facility in Huntington Beach, CA.Schedule:Monday, Friday, 5:15 AM- 2:00 PM. Ability to work overtime as needed.Requirements for the Material Handler :The ability to read and count accurately and perform basic math.The ability to operate material handling equipment, such as a standup forklift (cherry picker).Must have a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.Adaptability/flexibility when encountering problems. Must be able to communicate discrepancies to team leader and be able to solve problems and implement solutions.Ability to follow instructions and comply with all safety regulations including the use of personal protective equipment.Attention to detail, accuracy, dependability, persistence.Ability to work overtime as needed.Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently is strongly preferred.Forklift experience and certification is strongly preferred.Knowledge and experience working with an ERP system is strongly preferred.Prior experience in roles such as Warehouse Associate, Picker/Packer, Inventory Clerk, Shipping & Receiving Clerk, Forklift Operator, Stockroom Associate, Logistics Assistant, or Warehouse Material Specialist is a plus!Benefits of the Material Handler:Health and dental benefits are availableCal Savers retirement program is availableEarn referral bonusesResponsibilities of the Material Handler:Receiving Purchase Orders (PO’s) into the ERP system from outside vendors.Scanning tickets into the ERP system and producing labels.Physically unwrapping cartons, visually inspecting parts, and reconciling PO’s for count and quality.Bagging, inspecting, and labeling finished parts.Performing regular replenishment requests by processing receipts and putting parts away into stock locations.Picking parts from inventory locations and performing cycle counting.Maintaining inventory accuracy through physical and system inventory audits.Loading and unloading delivery trucks to ensure that each incoming delivery matches the PO.Identifying when product is missing or damaged from an order.Carrying and transporting materials utilizing material handling equipment, such as with handcarts, a Standup Forklift, and with company vehicles.Driving replenishment product/materials between multiple warehouses.Actively participating in problem solving, process improvement, and helping all team members finish daily tasks.Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse locations, accurate labeling, verifications, and troubleshooting discrepancies.Performing additional assignments per supervisor's direction.All candidates meeting the minimum requirements will receive an SMS invite to an AI-based interview. Salary : $18 - $21
