Connect Staffing is hiring an RMA Lead for a 3PL distribution center in Ontario, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $19.00/hr on a Monday–Friday day schedule. In this role, you will oversee daily returns operations — receiving, inspecting, and processing returned merchandise while leading a small team of RMA clerks and coordinating with inventory, customer service, and warehouse teams. This is a stable, full-time placement with consistent hours and the potential to grow into a permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Returns/RMA department in a 3PL distribution center, assigning workloads and monitoring team output to keep returns moving accurately and on time.
• Identify reasons for return — damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing product — and determine appropriate disposition: restock, quarantine, repackage, or dispose.
• Log and track all returned items in the WMS (Warehouse Management System), ensuring inventory records stay accurate.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Inventory Control, and Warehouse teams to resolve return discrepancies and related issues.
• Train and coach RMA Clerks on return procedures, quality standards, and workflow expectations.
• Support management with process improvement initiatives and assist with special warehouse projects as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• 1 year of experience in a Returns/RMA, Inventory Control, or Warehouse Operations role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a 3PL (third-party logistics) warehouse or distribution center.
• Hands-on experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) platform such as Manhattan, HighJump, NetSuite, or similar.
• Familiarity with inventory control processes including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.
• Experience processing returns for e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods accounts.
• Ability to identify and document product defects, damage types, or shipping errors accurately.
• Prior lead or team-lead experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
