Connect Staffing is hiring a Forklift Operator for a stucco distribution warehouse in Fontana, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $20/hr. In this role, you will operate a cherry picker (order picker) forklift to pull and move stucco and building materials throughout the warehouse. Overtime is available as needed.
Pay: $20.00/hr
Schedule: 1st Shift (Must be flexible on start time between 6am and 9:30am)

Responsibilities
- Operate a cherry picker (order picker) forklift to pick and move stucco and building materials throughout the warehouse.
- Locate and pull orders from racking using elevated cherry picker platform.
- Transport pallets and materials to staging, shipping, or storage areas.
- Verify order accuracy by matching pick tickets or labels to product.
- Maintain orderly racking and storage areas after picks.
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report any forklift issues to a supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
- 1 year of cherry picker (order picker) or sit-down forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating a turret truck (VNA — Very Narrow Aisle) forklift.
- Familiarity with building materials, construction supplies, or stucco products.
- Experience working in a distribution or wholesale warehouse.
- Ability to read pick tickets, packing lists, or basic warehouse documents.
- Experience with RF scanners or basic warehouse management systems.

Pre-Employment Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to work at a fast pace in a warehouse environment.
- Steel toe boots required (employee-provided).
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Drug screen required.
- Background check required.
