We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer – Cooling & HVAC Systems to join a Solar Manufacturing company in North Houston, TX.
Schedule: Hybrid – Houston, TX (50% travel required)
Requirements for Electrical Engineer – LCU/HVAC & ESS Systems :
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical training or engineering roles, preferably within renewable energy or solar inverter technologies.
• Strong knowledge is required in the Local Cooling Unit (LCU), electrical interfaces, and control logic.
• Experience with Solar Inverters and Energy Storage System (ESS).
• Experience working closely with product and R&D teams to maintain accurate training content, support hands-on demonstrations and troubleshooting labs, and provide technical feedback to improve training quality and system reliability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual training platforms.
• Ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards and site safety protocols.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer – LCU/HVAC & ESS Systems:
• Design and develop training materials: manuals, presentations, hands-on exercises, and assessments.
• Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions using lectures and demonstrations to vendors and Clients.
• Collaborate with product development and R&D teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date content.
• Establish evaluation processes to certify field service engineers and vendor partners.
• Organize customer visits and product introductions at company facilities.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support to internal teams, partners, and customers.
• Assist with repair activities and review technical proposals as needed.
• Gather feedback from participants to continuously improve training programs.
