Community Manager – Multifamily Portfolio (Inglewood, CA)

A growing real estate group with a large, diverse portfolio is seeking an experienced Community Manager to lead operations across multiple multifamily communities in Inglewood. This role is ideal for a strong operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, knows how to drive performance, and can lead a team with confidence and clarity.
About the Role
You’ll oversee the full day‑to‑day operations of the community, including financial performance, resident experience, team leadership, maintenance coordination, and compliance. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll guide a team of six and ensure the property meets operational, financial, and customer‑service standards.
What You’ll Lead
Property Operations
- Oversee all aspects of community performance
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation
- Conduct regular property walks and inspections
- Ensure safety, security, and adherence to regulations
Leasing & Occupancy
- Oversee leasing activity to maintain strong occupancy
- Support marketing efforts and local outreach
- Ensure units are market‑ready and presented at a high standard
Resident Experience
- Build strong resident relationships
- Enforce policies and community standards
- Manage notices, legal processes, and compliance with state regulations
Maintenance Oversight
- Coordinate with vendors and maintenance teams
- Monitor work orders, repairs, and unit turns
- Ensure timely completion of make‑readies
Financial Management
- Manage budgets, expenses, and financial reporting
- Oversee rent collection and delinquency efforts
- Analyze performance and implement corrective actions when needed
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and support on‑site staff
- Set performance goals and conduct evaluations
- Ensure alignment with operational standards and expectations
What You Bring
- 2–5 years of experience as a Community Manager or similar role
- Strong understanding of property management operations
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer‑service skills
- Working knowledge of state regulations and compliance
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- CAM certification is a plus
