Bilingual proficiency is preferred due to the firm’s diverse internal and external stakeholders. This is a key operational role within a firm that handles complex cases and high volume financial activity. The Accountant will support leadership with financial reporting, compliance, and strategic decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and trust account transactions
- Reconcile financial statements and maintain accurate ledgers
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Support payroll processing and expense management
- Assist with audits, tax preparation, and compliance requirements
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in all financial data
- Collaborate with leadership to support financial planning and forecasting
Ideal Background
- Experience in legal, medical, or professional services accounting
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial controls
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
