Import Logistics Coordinator

Schedule: M-F; 8-4:30 (flexible)

In this role, you’ll act as a key point of coordination between customers, carriers, and internal teams—ensuring all documentation is accurate, shipments stay on track, and compliance requirements are met. This position is well-suited for someone who enjoys working with structured processes, handling detailed information, and managing multiple priorities at once.
What You’ll Do
- Review import documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Enter shipment and customs data into internal systems
- Coordinate with carriers to track and manage inbound shipments
- Communicate with customers to gather required information and provide updates
- Monitor shipment timelines and proactively address delays or issues
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and internal procedures
- Support processing of various shipment types and commodities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Customer service experience (phone/email communication)
- Exposure to logistics, transportation, or supply chain
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage a high volume of emails and prioritize tasks effectively
- Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with customs clearance or brokerage
- Experience working with logistics or ERP systems
Details
- Salary: $50,000 – $60,000
- Bonus: Discretionary annual bonus
- Schedule: Flexible start times (7:30–4, 8–4:30, or 8:30–5)
